Why is the beta paused?
We’re updating the eBay connection to use application credentials managed by Lakeview Lister. The goal is to remove the need for sellers to create their own eBay developer keys. This work is still in progress.
Can I download the beta? When will it return?
Downloads are paused, and we haven’t set a reopening date. We’ll post updates on the beta status page.
Should I create eBay developer keys now?
Please wait for the updated setup instructions. The developer-key guide describes the previous beta and remains available for existing installations.
Where can existing testers get help?
Use the support page for help with your existing installation, eBay connection, account, or billing.
Setup access
What can I do before subscribing?
You can create a local profile, connect eBay, add an AI provider key, and check listing sync before starting Pro.
Is setup access a full free plan?
No. Setup and listing sync are free; editing and publishing listings require Pro.
Do I need an AI provider key?
Yes. The listing workflow uses a key from your own AI provider account, and that provider bills you for usage.
Which AI provider should I choose?
No one model is best for every item. In our five-item Draft Builder model trial, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite with Minimal reasoning was a quick, low-cost starting point. Review every draft and try another model when the item is hard to identify. The AI provider guide explains how to test models on your own listings.
Pricing and billing
How much does Pro cost?
Pro is $6 per month or $60 per year. The yearly option saves 17% compared with paying monthly.
How are AI provider costs billed?
Your Pro subscription and AI usage are billed separately. Your AI provider charges for usage on the key you provide.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel Pro through the billing portal. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds after a billing period begins, except where required by law or in cases of billing error. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro access through the end of your current billing period.
eBay and listing workflow
What does listing sync do?
It brings your eBay listings into the desktop app so you can review your current inventory.
Can I edit active listings?
Yes. With Pro, you can update active listings, add missing item specifics, and preview changes before saving.
Can I build and publish drafts?
Yes. Pro lets you create, review, and publish drafts.
Does Lakeview Lister support eBay managed shipping?
Lakeview Lister does not currently support eBay managed shipping, including “Ship with eBay.” Create and edit these listings directly on eBay.
How should I organize a Draft Builder run?
Group similar items when the same category, condition, and defaults apply. You’ll have fewer details to correct from one draft to the next. See the Draft Builder guide for examples.
Can Lakeview Lister accurately price my items?
AI price estimates are starting points, not valuations. They are primarily informed by currently listed items, which show asking prices rather than completed sales. Always review comparable sold listings before setting your price.
Platform and support
Which platforms are supported?
The macOS public beta is currently paused. Windows support is planned.
Where is my working data stored?
The installed app stores drafts, preferences, and working data on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to eBay, your AI provider, and our connection service.
