Account information
We may collect your name, email address, subscription status, and support history so we can provide access and respond to requests.
eBay connections
With the Lakeview-managed connection, you sign in to eBay and approve access for Lakeview Lister. Your eBay password is entered on eBay, not sent to Lakeview Lister. Our connection service handles authorization and access renewal.
Where eBay credentials are kept
In the installed app, credentials used to renew eBay access are saved in your device’s secure credential storage. Short-lived access credentials are kept temporarily in memory. Our connection service processes these credentials when needed to complete authorization or renewal, but does not retain renewal credentials in a form it can decrypt. A temporary encrypted handoff can be retained for the requesting device to retrieve and decrypt. Lakeview’s application secrets are not distributed with the installed app.
Connection requests and records
We use your Lakeview account identity and limited eBay connection information to verify account ownership, renew access, prevent abuse, and handle deletion requests. Records include connection identifiers, security identifiers derived from credentials, permission and expiry information, usage counters for security controls, and deletion-processing records. These identifiers are not treated as anonymous data.
Publishing and listing synchronization generally communicate directly between the installed app and eBay. Selected searches and marketplace information requests pass through our connection service, which processes the search terms, filters, or other parameters needed to fulfill them. This service does not provide a backup of your drafts or photos.
eBay account deletion and your workspaces
When eBay sends a verified account-deletion or closure notice for a managed connection, we disable the affected connection and process its associated service records. When a signed-in app receives the matching deletion instruction, it deletes that eBay account’s entire app-managed workspace, including its drafts, cached listings, settings, app-managed photo copies, and saved eBay credentials. Other eBay accounts’ workspaces are not targeted. This is separate from an ordinary disconnect, which does not by itself authorize whole-workspace deletion.
The installed app normally checks connection status and deletion instructions once per 24 hours while in use; connecting, reauthorizing, or manually checking connections can also trigger a check. We cannot erase local data while a device is offline or the app is not running. A device that does not reconnect before the instruction expires may retain old local content. Contact support for help removing remaining app data or copies you exported or backed up yourself.
Connection data retention
Connection records support access while the account is linked. Temporary authorization handoffs and security counters expire automatically. Minimal deletion instructions and related recovery records have a fixed maximum 365-day window from the original accepted deletion event; acknowledgements and retries do not restart that window. Minimal processed-notification receipts expire after 30 days. These periods concern connection and deletion records, not keeping deleted drafts or photos for a year.
Expired records are no longer used to authorize requests even if background removal has not finished. Backup copies may briefly retain previously stored connection information; their current retention period is eight hours. Account, billing, and support records are separate from eBay workspaces.
AI provider credentials and requests
AI-assisted listing workflows require credentials for the AI provider you choose. In the installed app, saved credentials are kept in your device’s secure credential storage, separately from ordinary preferences. Requests sent to your AI provider are handled under that provider’s own terms, pricing, and privacy practices.
Data on your device
The installed app stores listing drafts, preferences, and working data on your device. Copies you export or back up yourself are separate from the app-managed workspace and may remain after it is deleted.
Update checks
The installed app may periodically request release information from lakeviewlister.com to check whether an update is available for your version. This check does not automatically download or install an update.
Website analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 on public informational pages to count visits and understand page views, scrolling, outbound-link clicks, file-download clicks, and clicks leading to the AI Model Comparison page. Google may use analytics cookies and process page URLs, browser and device information, and IP addresses to provide this service. Our analytics events do not include form entries or comparison inputs, and the Analytics tag does not run on account, billing, password-recovery, or eBay callback pages. Billing data
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers. Billing portal access is used for invoices, subscriptions, and cancellations.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, account access, payment processing, and support communications. They process the information needed to provide those functions. Providers that deliver and protect our website and service connections may also process network information, including IP addresses. eBay and your chosen AI provider process the information you send to their services under their own privacy practices.
Support messages
Information submitted through support is used to respond to your request and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.
